Occasionally tiles suffer the worst consequence and become broken or cracked, this is most probably due to impact damage but could be due to the incorrect use of tile adhesive. Simply dabbing each corner and the middle can cause the tile to crack! Always spread tile adhesive with a combed spreader and be sure to cover all of the tile!

The best way to remove a damaged tile is to drill it in the centre and if necessary score the surface of the tile with a hand held tile cutter, now gently lever the tile by inserting a screwdriver into the hole that you have just drilled. The tile should crack where you have scored it and can be removed. Be sure to remove any old adhesive before fitting your replacement tile.

To refit the tile simply cover the back of the tile with adhesive using a combed spreader and firmly push the tile in the gap then place some spacers in the joints if necessary.
