The "Not dead yet" thread...
No not me, although I've just checked... deffo not dead.
What I mean is that when some-one famous dies we often have a r.i.p. thread. The idea is to celebrate those famous people whilst they are still alive... a bit like a UHM "This is your life" thread.
For some reason I've had Bernard Cribbins song "right said Fred" song going through my head, and realised that I have been aware of the singer (cough) / comedy/character actor and narrator for the Wombles pretty much all of my life, recent ish appearances in Dr. Who
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_Cribbins
not an "in your face "celeb" " in any sense, just seems a hard working decent home grown talent..
I've got a couple more up my sleeve if this thread gets any reaction

I love some of the descriptions:-
Duke of Edinburgh : Casual Racist
Louis Farrakhan : Nutter
Robert Mugabe: Dictator
Paul Gascoigne : Gazza
One day it will all be firewood.

Just saying, Bernard Cribbins is more familiar with Dr who, than you may have thought.
Released in 1966

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Re: The "Not dead yet" thread...
Can't tell you who the person is, but me and my mate went to see that film when it first came out.
Summer hols 1966 IIRC.
I remember being a bit disappointed that it wasn't the "proper" Doctor.
