ideas for sourcing lots of floor tiles

Post by moorfield »

Hi I'm looking to source approx. 90 sqm of limestone-ish finish floor tiles for a barn conversion floor. Goes without saying I would like to do this as cheaply as possible at good quality and ideally looking for a better deal than the usual high street suspects (Topps Tiles, B&Q etc.).

Can anyone give me any ideas/pointers/recommendations on where I could look eg. trade websites/forums? abroad? wholesalers? importers? etc.

Many Thanks.

I got my Travertine from ebay...............

needed 27m for my place. It was gonna cost £1400 from local tile places, and that was trade.

Found on ebay stone importers that would send out a sample, which was nice stuff. Only problem was they onlt sold in crates of 35m.

Ended up paying (30 for 35m of floor.......and 12m of travertine wall tiles as well...

That was delivered as well :thumbright:

I would definately try 'Walls and floors' via the internet.. I've used them several times and cant praise them enough for quality, customer service, delivery etc etc.. and the prices are very, very good!! They also do pallet deals.. Well worth looking at..
