It's not cutting , just smashing, the bath trim is quite flimsy

try backing the trim with wood or mdf to give it support both on the base and back

can you slow the saw down aswell? or has it not got a speed control on it

Big-All, once again thanks

I backed the trim with a piece of mdf I had and cut through both and it done the trick, not sure why I don't think of these things?

Fin- yeah I can slow the saw down and I didn't think of that either

but the jobs done now
