tile wall meets tile floor

Post by jph »

Hi
Iam about to tile my bathroom wall, there is no skirting board. Should I taket the wall tiles down to floor or do I need to fit skirting boards first?

I wall tiles are taken down to floor do I grout the wall-floor junction?

Thanks

I prefer to see it with no skirting, unless you use a marble/stone/tile as the skirting.

I would certainly tile it to the floor and see what you think, you can always stand a length of skirt on the wall to which you like best.

I'm with Jaegs, this is how I've done mine, thin line of grout then silicon.
