Hi
laid a row of mosaic tiles on a plasterboard wall yesterday around a sink and loo then emulsioned the remainder of the wall. it was then decided that the part of the wall i painted needed to be tiled.
if i let the emulsion harden for a few days will it be ok to tile over the fresh paint.
any advice would be welcome
regards

thanks for the quick reply Telmay.
the wall was already emulsioned so i gave it a rub down with a course grit pad to give it something to key to where i painted and regarding the area where i fitted the new tiles, that was previously tiled which i removed without doing damage to the plasterboard. not sure on mist coating

The only issue you might have is if the board wasnt mist coated, i.e primed which means if paint was used straight from the can the board would suck the moisture from the paint leaving the paint on the surface not adhered as it should, which in short could mean surface adhesion failure - but to be honest its a bit late now so I would go for it.
