Where should I start

Tilling a wetroom with travetine tiles on the floor and ceramic tiles on the walls should the floor be done first or is it OK to do the walls so you don't get adhesive spills etc on the floor

I'd do the walls first and the floor second.

Walls first, then floor.

If there are big dips or bows in the wall, then tile the wall first, leaving the bottom row of tiles out, then tile floor, then fit bottom row of tiles.

There's nothing worse than seeing a floor cut up against an uneven wall

Nothing looks more amateurish than having floor grout lines that don't match wall grout lines. So spend some time setting out, then walls first and finishing as bathstyle suggests.

I agree with Stods, however if you floor and wall tiles are not the same size or for something different, set the floor tiles on the diagonal.

If you are lining the floor and wall grout joints up, then you will find it much easier to tile the floor first.

Tiling the walls first will mean that the adjacent walls will have to be in exactly the right position, the walls will need to be perfectly square also.#

Tiling the floor first gives that little bit more flexibility for lining the joints up, as the wall tiles can be moved slightly to suite the floor.
