circular saw blades

ok i obviously need a new blade in my circular. but for now will a spare blade from my chop saw do? or will i risk burning the machine out?

saw is an elu with 216mm diameter blade. the spare blade is from my 701 chop saw and is a series 60 dewalt blade with a negative rake design

the blade that was in my circular is totally goosed

wouldn't bother mate get yourself a new trend blade or freud blade

ok ta for the advice. actually the blade i took out the machine is a negative rake design aswell having compared the 3 i have there all like that. cutting performance was pretty crap. guess its due to the blade design partially. ill sort a new blade for it asap

It could just be that your blades need sharpening, check for burning on the sides of the teeth. Negative rake blades are those multi material type blades you can use on wood and aluminum, generally they aren't as good in timber as a positive raked blades.
