Hi all
I am redoing a sleeper-wood counter, and the previous carpenter used a lovely dark brown resin-like filler (it has 'bubbles' in it - not 'solid') - which when sanded and varnished looks lovely - anyone used anything like this before?
(I have looked at all the commercial fillers from the local hardware stores but none fit the bill)
Many thanks
Justin.
Bubbly, dark brown joint filler?

Hi Justin.
I may be wrong, but it sounds like Gorilla glue to me!!! Gorilla is just the brand name and its not made of mushed up Gorillas.

It has a brown colour and bubbles when set. It also stains the same as wood, so can be blended in.
Hope this helps.
