Bathroom Light
Hi, my bathroom light has stopped working and am not sure what is wrong with it, however i am unsure what type of light it is and how to go about fixing or replacing it. The only label i found on it read apollo square lamp 28W 2A. It is inside a plastic casing and the tubing is similar to those of energy saving lightbulbs. At first i thought it may have been the starter motor but i bought a replacement and that was not the problem. Any suggestions ?

Try changing the tube and the starter, but make sure you get a lamp with the correct number of pins, some use four pin and some 2 , the lamp you require is a 28W 2D with the same number of pins as the old one. To remove the lamp , grip it by the centre plastuc part and pull it downwards. look on the back of the lamp for the brass contacts either 2 or 4 and buy a lamp to match . If this does not work then try looking further into it, like is there power to the light fitting. Get back to us if you need any more help

If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL
