Stairway Makeover

Post by Aussieinessex »

Anyone done a makeover of their stairway?

Basically, I have the stairway in its original form. When we moved in, it was covered in carpet. We took all the carpet out of the house a few years ago.

I have just the bare stairs now. You can see white paint on the vertical parts with adhesive marks left over from the carpet and several holes. (is it possible to post a picture on here?)

The landings, my wife has put a cheap laminate adhesive floor, which hasn't been very strong and has peeled off.

I would love to make it look nicer.

Yes you can post photos.

...and in this instance they would be invaluable. :-)

Procrastination is like masturbation. In the end you are only screwing yourself.
