snipsnip you dont want to be dropping your job that gives you guaranteed income. the good thing with furniture making is that you can make stuff in your own time then flog it/use it at home. its not like a trade (e.g structural capentry) where you're on site, dictated by deadlines and stuff; imagine it not working out having dumped a 30k plus job!

i would recommend Norm Abraham; used to watch some of his stuff.... he is dead boring and a real safety freak but that guy is really good!

snip snip, get the books outlined in my reply to the thread 'Joinery Book'.

A lot of useful stuff in there, and stuff you probably know already.
