Hi all,
I've had a lot of damp in my house affecting the joists and floor boards(no insulation between sleeper walls and joists!). So have laid a concrete floor.
Will be laying a glueless laminate floor on this. I'm wondering what the best underlay will be, the slab is mostly level but with some v small stones poking up 2-3mm up at the edges. I know i should've put a screed on top but float finished insted.
Please advise

I'd definately get one with a dpc built in, something like this-
dead link removed
The problem you will have is that the stones that are sticking up could eventually pierce the dpc or underlay.
Or you could just lay a large DPC to cover the whole floor and then use the 5mm thick fibre insulation-

I'd remove any sharp bits with a chisel and then fill any small holes with mortar before laying the dpc/underlay.

Thanks for that,
Think i'll knock the sharpies and fill, then go for an underlay with built in DPM. Its a little way off, as plasterer in next.
Thanks again
Phil
