Smilies
Can anyone tell me why when I add an animated smiley to a post on a forum, (eg, my old school forum) I don't see the animation, but other members can. All I see is a 'frozen' image of the smiley, so can anyone help?

I thought you might be. Animated gifs are off by default in IE7. Just one more reason to get a different browser.
I would recommend downloading Opera or Mozilla Firefox. However, I imagine you just want to stick with what you have and switch on animated gifs.
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia > "play animations in webpages"

It's worth knowing what operating system you are using and what browser. If you have a problem with web pages then whoever is diagnosing it for you will need to know what you're using. You'll save a bit of time by quoting them when you describe the problem.
