Toilet Door Handle/Lock

Post by lukedouglassmith »

Thanks guys for all your support so far!

Just wondered what the specific name for this Toilet door handle and latch system?

(Pics Below)

And where I would be able to purchase a replacement for it, as it's worn so much that the lever is falling down without moving the handle.

Cheers guys!

maybe. at first i thought it could have been a foofoo valve, or maybe a waffle sprocket. Im not 100% sure though.

to the op, have you tried looking on the likes off toolstation or screw fix? you probably wont see something like that but may see some thing that would do the same job.

Some helpful replies I see :-P

I used to work in a hardware distributors that imported door furniture from all over the world and so I have seen quite a few different types of lock/latch handles, but I have never seen one of those before :?

Hopefully someone will know

Try B&Q, they seem to have a wide range of stuff , failing that, it's not worth trying to track down, so just get something to replace it.

Assuming they have the use of feet, remember where its fitted.

Some of the architectural stuff is silly money and also hard to find.Toilet locks seem to attract higher prices too for some reason.
