Trowel 'notch size'

Hi Guys,
Advice please on 'notch size' for 10cm x 10cm tiles going on a kitchen wall?

if the walls are nice and smooth (flat plaster) then a 6 or 8mm trowel will be fine! :thumbright:

As above, but as a general rule the bigger the tile, the bigger notch size, 6mm will be fine, load your trowel offer it up to wall at 45 degrees as you run the trowel up the wall, reduce the angle down to 38 degrees, giving you nice ribs to lay your tiles on. :thumbright: :thumbright:
