Plasplug tile cutter
I'm busy tiling my mothers bathroom floor and thought I'd have no problem cutting curves in the tiles with my dewalt jigsaw and a tile cutting blade, how wrong I was, it cut at a really slow speed and i burnt through blades for fun. So i'm looking at a tile cutter and found a plasplug one from focus diy for £30 (I dont want to spend much as it prob wont get used again http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/Tile-Accessor ... nvt/101317), will this do the job to cut 8mm thick floor tiles (no idea what they're made of http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/Floor-Tiles/T ... nvt/223241)

I got the Ferm one from Screwfix a couple of years ago. It is now badged as Titan http://www.screwfix.com/prods/83636/Pow ... ile-Cutter and I think it is the same a the Plasplugs. It has done a fair bit of work for me and I have been pleased with it. It is a bit messy though and water sprays a fair bit so you have to work outside. I guess they are all like that though.
