Its been a couple of years since I have worked with trades, and wondering what is the going rate now per sqm to lay tiles?
Theres no awkward cuts or anything, just a floor, approx 11 sqm.
BTW, I am enquiring for myself.
Whats the going rate?

Wots the base that the tiles are going on?
Ceramic, Porcelain or a natural stone?
Does the area need any prep work?
Base..... we have carpet there at the moment, but underneath is like a tile lino effect, it was there when we moved in.
Tiles.... I quite fancy limestone, as apparently they are not supposed to be as cold.
Prep work.... Might need a bit of levelling compound.
I would rather want something I dont have, that have something I dont want

Are YOU going to do the prep work?
(Remove carpet and lino/tile)
So depending on how bad the floor is after that???
Limestone as with all natural stones are expensive to buy as well as lay.
You could be talking (dependant on your area) around £35-£45 PER METRE
Plus take into consideration the cost of self levelling the floor.........that all depends on how bad it is
