Door handles

Some might say im just heavy handed

Last night, went to close the french door, pulled them closed, the handle snapped off in my hand. Oh well

Tonight, just about to go for a shower, closed bedroom door, forgot towels, went to go back in... operated the handle, feel some resistance, nothing happens. Push it with my shoulder, tries pushing the handle down a touch more, sheared the handle

Tried vice grips, no luck.
Remove the handle outer, the body of the latch is all in bits in the hole

Put the bar in and knocked the latch backward enough to boot the door open without doing any damage

Now i have 2 door handle to replace

I remember when you shook my hand for the first time. I had just hacked off a load of plaster from a large wall and had a couple of blisters, then you gripped my hand so tight that you nearly broke the bones, you heavy handed brute

Hey talking of door handles.....Ive got like 6 pairs I keep tripping over awaiting the doors to be hung upstairs......hint hint!

Might only go for the day cos them lot are doing my head in already! Then we can have a week at home together - just us and our doors!
