Spacers in a tiled floor

Post by smp8 »

Hi Guys

Ive just tiled my bathroom floor and left the spacers in. Will the spacers prevent tile movement and lead to cracked tiles? Would it it be better to remove them?

Theyve been in for over 48 hours and the adhesive has set, but I think I can prise them out if necessary.

Thanks in advance

Never had a problem with leaving them in and I would expect them to be slightly flexible like the tile adhesive and grout if the floor is wooden. If it is concrete it will be rock solid anyway.
