Tile cutting machine blades
On another forum, mention was made of the cheap metal/diamond disks sold by Aldi, as mine is, but the ceramic/diamond disks are much better. It does chip the edges slightly, but as the corners are finished with a fllet of sanitary silicone, or white caulk, the chipping is hidden. When I come to cut the floor tiles, 415mm sq Mapisa, might it be a good idea to upgrade the disk?
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

We use Marcrist diamond blades, a slightly more expensive but made with real diamonds, not the synthetic ones. Perfect precision cuts everytime, even on porcelain etc & when costing out price per blade over number of cuts compared to cheaper versions it actually works out in favour of the expensive blades.
We also have a few 0.8mm diamond kerf blades for the more finer work when cutting small thin tiles for traditional victorian entrances etc
