doing out the garage
needed some conduit for the weekend. ordered it in the week for saturday delivery, when it diddnt arrive went down to the store to get some .it arrived a few days later. so emailed them complaining. they said i could keep the conduit free of charge.
so im going to return it to the store using the reciept from when i purchased the other conduit at the weekend.
can't argue with that :wink:

yer kinda found that out when the sent the wrong plasterborard tape and had to go to the store to change it
was there about half an hour he couldnt decide wether he could change it in store if it was ordered online, when it says on the website it can be returned in store :angryfire:

:thumbright: Thats the way to go, these DIY places are rubbish when you try and get something delivered.
I had a problem years ago with B&Q, they sold my bricks, and coping stones to someone else, even after we had paid for them, and they were in the corner with our name on it.

Waited for the delivery, had someone waiting to start on the work, no delivery, I went down that evening, gave them hell, and when they said they had sold our order to someone else by mistake, I saw red.

Finally got it sorted, also claimed for a days wages for the person who was suppssed to be doing the job, also got a credit note as a gesture of goodwill.

I blame it all on the management, they hire silly staff that havent a clue, have no interest, and is just there as they are to thick to work elsewhere.

Sorry.... I should have posted this in the Grumpy corner. :roll:
