What would you do with this?

Post by BRUNO »

Hi all,

In my bathroom there's a boxed in riser in the corner, plasterboard and timber. After taking a hammer and chisel to the tiles it's in a right mess. I want to tile over it and am wondering how should I go about fixing all the little holes and tears .

Should I reskim ? The tiles I'm putting on are heavy enough porcelain
ones.

Thanks!

If it's it's just the boxing i would remove the old p/board or material and replace with new, much easier than trying to mess about with it
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments..

Either that Bruno or get some BAL Quickset Render to level it up & tile direct to it, set in 2 hrs so don't need to wait like you do if plastering.

replace the plasterboard to the boxing, fast and easy....remember to use a mechanical fix adhesive, powder mix single part with porc.bond for porcelain, not bucket ready mix.
