Hi,
I have a concrete doorstep which I want to improve the appearance of but I wanted something different to flagstones and thought tiling might be a better option.
What type of tiles and adhesive would anyone recommend for external use? I was thinking along the lines of slate. Would this be a good choice?
NB the doorstep is 2000mm wide x 800mm deep x 150mm high.
Many thanks.

Slate is an excellent choice for external tiling, as for adhesive, I would personally recommend the BAL natural stone (expensive) or BAL single part flexible (slightly expensive), both excellent for external work & flexible which is required due to the possible temperature changes and hence shrinkage and expansion.
Same with the grout too, use a flexible
