Hello

I wish to lay a tile floor in my kitchen which has lino down already so the question is do i need to take up the lino or can i tile on top and can i use the same adhesive that i used for tiling the walls?.

Take up the lino and use Bag adhesive (cement base fast setting)

Depends on wot the floor is? (Wooden floorboards or Cement Screed)

If floorboards...........overboard with min 12mm ply, then use a flexible powdered adhesive and grout

If concrete.......use a powdered adhesive suitable for your tiles. (Porcelain or ceramic?)
