Yes, that is the answer in a nutshell.
I presume the tiles are rather large, and so you may need to be careful re the weight on certain walls. Guidlines suggest 20kgs per sq mt on skimmed plastered walls, 30kgs onto direct plasterboard, 50kgs onto aquaboard etc.
If up tp 30x30cm can use readymade flexible adhesive eg Granfix multifix,Sovereign Gold star. Any bigger, use flexible powdered.
Tiles need sealing with dedicated seal for I presume ,polished porcelain .
