Hi,
I am looking for a little bit of help and advice on how to prepare my bathroom for tiling. I have taken the walls back to the stud work and due to the old plasterboard being rotton and was planning on using Knauf Aquapanel to line the walls. Would you recommend using a polythene barrier behind this to further protect the stud work from moisture in the future?
Also is there any particular jointing compound or tile adhesive that I should be using, and should I seal the aquapanel beforehand?
It is my first attemp at a job this size and although I have done some kitchen tiling before, this is a little different!
I have also heard of a rubberized solution that can be used painted on the plasterboard and floor to stop moisture penetration, butI don't know what it is called wher eI can get it or if it is even recommended!
Any help would be greatly appeciated!!
