Floor Tiling

I think i know the answer but i am about to tile the Bathroom floor.The surporting joist are 4inch by 2inch and 16inch's apart at there centres.The floor boards are 4 & 1/2 inch's wide bye 3/4 inch. I take i will still have to strenghten the floor.

I'd strenghten it to be on the safe side.
