Bedding shower tray down

Hi Again
Yet another question if ya dont mind...
How much cement/rapid fix should I use to bed the new shower tray onto ??? :scratch: The tray is a 900x900 quadrant.

The question would be better asked in the plumbing forum.

What tray is it, and what does the manufacturers instructions say about bedding the tray.

Normally a weak ish mix sand and cement 5-1 is fine.

The simple answer is a lot more than you would think! Between one and two buckets to get a proper base but you do need to use the right stuff as directed by the manufacturer.

I would estimate that you will need approx 10kg of cement based rapidset flexible adhesive

Ok thanks chaps, will give it a go and see what happens. The manufacturers destructions dont say how much should be used.
I will go with the 10kg and see.
