Can't find filling loop!

I have a Glowworm 24cxi combi boiler.
I removed a radiator to do some decorating, put it back on and turned boiler back on... and it won't work... the pressure gauge flashes 0..

I think I have to re-pressurise the system but can't find the filling loop.

Does anyone know if it is integrated in the boiler? the instruction manual (see link below) makes no sense to me...

or is the loop separate? all the pipework is hidden behind panelling... and I don't want to remove it unnecessarily...

any help much appreciated.

You should have an external filler loop as well as the internal top up device.

4.5 Filling the Sealed System
NOTE: The water pressure at the boiler must be at least 1.2bar
to enable filling the boiler to a minimum pressure. If not
pressurisation must be carried out by an alternative filling loop.
The boiler has a built in filling device, see diagram 4.2. A pushon
extension is supplied in the loose items pack to ease access
to the filling device tap.
This filling device is designed to enable the re-pressurisation of
the system in the event of loss of pressure. It is not intended to
be used to completely fill the system. If so used, it may take a
long time to fill the system.
To fill the system quickly provision should be made to include a
proprietry filling loop external to the boiler.
Suitable external filling systems are shown diagramatically, see
diagram 4.3. The system should be pressurized to 1 bar,
indicated on the digital display with no heating demand.

Is this the model with the filling loop built-in?

Righthand side and to the front of boiler underneath there is blue wind in out knob as I recall.

Yes AJS, but it was only for topping up, and Not for filling the system, because it would take too long, there should be a filler loop hiding somewhere.

So it's also the one that goes over pressure quicker than you can close the loop

Scruff ansd AJS, Thanks very much for the replies.

I did try that blue filler tap underneath - and I see why it's not working now. I have to refill the system with the amount that was lost from a big radiator...

I'm going to have a hunt for a filling loop somewhere, but not hopeful - we just bought this place and don't recall inheriting any spare parts.

Would it be possible, as I've seen in other posts, to top it up using a hose into the top of the radiator?

Not a good idea.

A hose onto a draincock is though.

A little brass thing on the pipes at low level that you drain the system out with.
