swapping gas and electric to save money

Post by big-all »

they often get it wrong but how come its so wrong

went to 4 swap sites entered my anual consumption gas 5450kw elec 4505 kw
so they all have my postcode they all know i am with scottish power on line 4
they all know i pay by direct debit
and funny enough they all suggested with n power i would get the greatest savings so far so good :thumbright:

they all suggest the same tariff :thumbright:

they all suggest £622 fantastic
i can save £257 or was that £125 or was that £33 all depends on what site you look at HOW CAN THEY ALL GET IT SO WRONG

and do you want to know the funny bit ----- well it would be if it wasnt so wrong!!

my actual costs after doing the maths is £614 is my actual costs scottish power say £583 but i belive the difference is i was in credit by £34 so clamed it back so within £3

so my savings would be minus £8

oo and when i contacted n power direct to check 'they had the correct figures and said i would be around £10 worse off good on them for honesty
we are all ------------------still learning
