Post by dexbond »

hi guys,
can anyone tell me can i tile straight on to plasterboard or does it have to be sealed before tiling, i have built a cupboard in my bathroom and have plasterboarded it but i want to tile around the cupboard, but will it suck all the moisture out of the adhesive.
any help would be great

It depends on the tile adhesive, if I was tiling it I would use a cement based flexible adhesive which requires a coat of undiluted APD before tiling

Get hold of some BAL Grip for walls its ready mixed and can be applied direct to plaster board without primer
