We have a quarry tile floor. In the dim and distant past, marley tiles have been laid on some sort of tile cement. We would like to restore the quarry tiles but while the marley tiles lift off easily, the cement is virtually impossible to shift - I have tried everything I can think of and the only method which has ANY effect is a bolster chisel.
This is very, very slow and I cannot risk damaging the underlying quarry tiles...any ideas?
Thanks
David
