Trojan-Agent
Had a prize pratt from India post a load of links today, all deleted and banned.
The question is I ended up with 19 Trojan-Agent viruses.
I had a sneaky feeling about it and ran Malware straight away which detected and removed them (quarantined) but why didn't Avast pick them up.

Scruff,
Did you open the links to see what they were?
Regarding Avast not picking them up, depends upon how new they were or how they were hidden and did Avast have the definitions in its folder. Trojans are Malware or Spyware and not viruses so Avast may not have a definition of them.
Was it Malwarebytes that found them? If so, run another Quick Scan with it and remove all that it finds. Should only take a couple of minutes.

Yes there was two different posters, and around 20 odd posts
I clicked on one from each and both had the same url.
I've removed the url but this is the actual link so don't open it.
"http://www.google.com]click here to know more"
Malwarebytes found them, and re-booted after it removed them, then I ran it again and was clear.
I may run a full scan whilst I'm out.

If it didn't find anything second time round, don't bother with a full scan.
Have you got SuperAntiSpyware installed?
If so update it and let that do a quick scan too.

Worth while then if you are off out and don't need the PC.
SAS is the other tool along with MBAM that are a must-have.
Got to remember to update them every couple of days at the least as one of those trojans could have stopped you going online to some sites and prevented you getting updates so a scan may not have worked to get rid of everything.
