Re Grouting
Hi. I have a bathroom to paint. One of the walls into a shower cubicle is tiled ( grey tiles, grey grout ) the lady would like the grout in the shower re done as it is dirty, and a different colour now to the rest.
Can I just scrape the old off and use a grey grout to redo or am I better off cleaning it or.... other?
Thanks

re-grouting can be made easier with the Bosch all rounder. If you have to use a hand powered rake it makes the job much harder. As Opus Romano says, be careful not to damage the tiles.

A nice piece of kit there, I have a Fein and still refuse to do re-grouting jobs. More trouble than they are worth IMO.ultimatehandyman wrote:Bosch all rounder

The Fein is supposed to be the better machine, but it is also the dearer machine as well.Opus Romano wrote:A nice piece of kit there, I have a Fein and still refuse to do re-grouting jobs. More trouble than they are worth IMO.ultimatehandyman wrote:Bosch all rounder
Re-grouting is one of those jobs like wall paper stripping- I do it if I can't get someone else to do it for me
