this tiling lark plays havoc with your hands. tried wearing gloves but then your hands wrinkle like mad stuck in them all day. i suppose it would have to be barrier cream.
what does anyone else do to for there beut...eerrr

i wear latex gloves whilst grouting

i wear them whilst grouting timothy but it is the adhesive that is stuck to my hands. its this bal single part that is stook on. no matter how i scrub them i still have a white film on them.
all this wet trades stuff is ruining my craftsmen hands

The next floor you Grout, try using Ardex C2 with 101 admix, that stuff really is bad for your hands, it takes a good week to come off, dries your hands out like nothing else.

I never use gloves for grouting, they fill up with water

i have a wet sponge when using adhesive and clean up as I go along

ive tried using marigolds as they are longer sio less chance of getting water in them.
i also do have a sponge as i am going along but with 600x300 porcelain tiles that need back buttering as well it still gets on your hands. i do wipe it off with a sponge but whn my hands dry it is there, ground in

I paint my hands in PVA. A bit of water and that comes off taking all the other stuff with it.

I have a friend that is an artexer and sometimes he has to pattern the artex with his fingers to acheive a medusa pattern for example. He rubs plenty of vaseline in his hands before and after and he says that works
