uncalibrated slate linear mosaic bathroom tiles

Hi,
thanks for checking the thread, I have purchased the above tiles for the bathroom and as they "butt" together and do not, in theory require grouting, however, there are slight gaps between some of the tiles. Does anyone know the best way of sealing them without grout.

what thickness do they range from?
what sizes do they range from?
what substrate are you fixing to?

the tiles come in normal tile size "mats" like mosaic tiles, they are irregular with varying thickness, but only mm diff. the tiles come from Topps but have not seen them on their site. will post a photo asap. they are put on with waterproof adhesive on a plastered wall.

you have to grout mate, you will have movement in the wall...when you apply addy..wet addy then its going to dry?so movement?
i thought you were talking about uncalibrated slate ere...just treat as mosiac!

Have posted some photos for your perusal. The mat is 300mm x 150mm
If I have to grout any suggestions as to the best, cleanest way.

Are the file sizes too big? if so how do I reduce to comply ?

No they were Zip files which could contain a virus, or unsuitable material.

You can attach photo's by following the how to in the forum.

I tried to send them the normal way but got a message to say the size was too big. Any ideas how to reduce them ?

Same question really, the best way of sealing the small gaps where the tiles join.

Agree with the grey grout.

Are the vertical edges meant to be in line as in pic 2 ??

Hi Chris,
yes, the straight vertical lines are the edge of the tile. The tiles are staggered, it's only the tile edges that need grouting the tiles are sealed at the back like mosaic.
