Ryan Giggs - Sports Personality of the Year

Post by skiking »

OK, I'm an Man Utd fan so it could be argued that I am biased. However, the guy, last year (PFA player of the year) and this year just seems to be getting better and better.

At 36 he has lost some of his speed but his footballing nous is second to none. I was expecting Jenson Button to get it 'cos his team won it for him but big congrats to Ryan Giggs :thumbright:

It may seem difficult at first! But everything is difficult at first.

I personally would of voted for Jessica Ennis.

World Heptathlon Champion.

She is also only 23 years old.

Ryan giggs has had a very successful career. But What has he done this year.

Ryan Giggs, BBC Sports Personality of the Year?????

But he hasn't got a personality and he doesn't even play a proper sport (I think he's a Wendyballer - or is it Pansy-kick he plays?)

When you look at the amount of sports that Jessica Ennis has to compete in and then look at Ryan Giggs kicking a ball. The people who voted obviously don't know Jessica Ennis or Heptathlon.

Im a Chelsea fan and tbh I cant stand United but Ive gotta take my hat off to Gigsy - one of the best (if not the best) player to ever play in the premiership. To consistently play at the level he has for so long and still going strong at 36 is a great achievment
