Hi we've got an old style bath and are going to tile up the sides instead of replacing. We are going for white or grey tiles on the walls and black slate on the floor. Is it best to tile the bath the same as the floor or the walls?
I've only seen examples of the former and I'm not sure about having black slate up the side of the bath?
Tiling the bath? Use floor or wall tiles?

Nearly all tiled bath panels will be done to match the walls. It is personal preference though as to whether you use wall or floor tiles for it.
few people do the panel in floor tiles and even fewer do bottom course in floor and rest in wall.
personally I would do it to match the wall. Just remember that you need to think about accessability to the underneath of the bath for maintenance.
