People keep getting advised to download and install SAS and to keep it upto date in case they get an infection.
SuperAntiSpyware Use the Blue button for the free version.

Just wanted to point out some of the other things that SAS is good at doing, should a computer become infected.

Once installed, from the Main Menu click Preferences -> Repairs tab and look at the list of things it can repair if you are struggling to get rid of a spyware problem. Click on an item for a description of what it can repair.

For example: If the spyware is preventing you using the Run command, SAS can sort it.

There are about a dozen items that can be damaged by an infection for self-preservation, which SAS can repair, as well as running a scan to try to remove the pesky thing.

This alone, makes it worth while keeping it installed and updated.

will that work on anti virus 7? i just got the warning last night, im running a superantispyware scan now, once thats done im going to run a full avast scan

The SAS may find and remove it.
Your Avast probably will not even find it because it is malware not a virus.
If SAS does not remove it then print this post and follow the instructions:

1st thing to do is clear out all your temporary files, tool of choice is ATF Cleaner, it is free and you do not have to install it. Download and instructions here (Windows XP, 2K, 2003 & Vista ONLY)
* NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, click No at the prompt.

-- Click on ATF-Cleaner to run it
-- Where it says Select Files To Delete, Check the Select All Option
-- Click Empty Selected - > OK

If you use Firefox browser, do this also:

* Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All from the list.
* Click the Empty Selected button.

Then, please download MalwareBytes' AntiMalware using the BLUE button for the FREE version.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to the following:

o Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
o Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

* Then click Finish

If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

* Once the program has loaded, select > Perform Quick Scan, then click > Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click > OK, then > Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click > Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Save this log to My Documents in case it is needed for reference.
Reboot as required.

Not quite the same, ATF is only a temp file cleaner.
If you have Ccleaner then run the cleaner section of that. Then run MBAM.

When MBAM had scanned and displayed the items that it had found, did you select them and then click to remove them?

I am not an expert on HJT logs and would never attempt to read them and tell you what to do with the items on there. It is really a specialists job to interpret them.

Regarding the two items that MBAM discovered, go to your Security Centre from the Control Panel and check that your firewall and your antivirus are running, because the things it picked up had blocked the notification system that warns you of a disabled firewall and antivirus.

Is the warning coming back or has that now ceased?

I don't think we should go down the road of people posting Hijack This logs on here unless requested.

There are forums that specialise in doing them, and I really don't have the time to go in depth on badly infected machines.

I'll just say that your system looks clean, although you could do with removing a load of stuff from startup to help increase startup times.

the warning has stopped coming up, the firewall is now on. the only thing that comes up, is when i go on isohunt it puts a warning screen up, that i have to click to continue, to get back on, this has only been happening on IE doesnt happen on opera.
