screwfix site makita 3 batts 18volt combi #50 site makita 14 volt combi#40 I do not know the difference betwwen this 18 volt and the blue one.

the blue one is the a grade the red one is b grade
they are both end off line though so new batteries/tools may or may not fit :scratch: :scratch:

This is a real bargain.

The batteries from the site models fit the makita and vise versa as it says so on screwfix :wink:

Don't know for sure, but if they don't I suggest buying Dewalt instead :lol:

No they don't, Makita Ni-Cd are totally different to the new generation Li-Ion

That Site 18V drill looks identical to the Makita 8390, I'm wondering if its a possibility Makita are throwing in the same internals of older spec drills into these new Site drills like Bosch were doing with the Bosch Green. This particular drill has an all metal gearbox so cant be half bad for 50 notes.
