using wall tiles on the floor

I have found some wall tiles tha I want to also use on the floor, is this OK?

They are ceramic 9mm thick and its a bathroom so wear will be light.

I doubt they will be upto the job as floor tiles are normally thicker than wall. tiles. The other thing to consider is safety , i doubt they will offer any grip at all when wet and will probably be a serious hazard .

You drop something on it and it will chip or scratch for sure!

I would instinctively say, you can't use them otherwise they would be labelled as wall/floor tiles.

A word of warning... I have tiled a whole bathroom floor with wall tiles, it wasnt until the client walked across them (while i was there) that we discovered... WALL TILES ARE FOR WALLS!

ooops, client and we discovered doesn't sound good. Wall tiles are indeed not for floors unless they say wall/floor tiles.
