what classes do you have? if you have C1 you're can drive up to 7.5T GVW
quick edit, if vehicle is over 3.5T & has digital tacho fitted you'll need an electronic drivers card, costs £38 & i got mine within 2 weeks

it all depends when you got your licence and wether its a paper or plastic type licence (most paper licences have the old classes on them)
the classes all changed in 1997 to come in line with the eu
all the info you need should be on direct.gov or the dsa site.
all the info your after.

im 27 so hopefully age wont be a problem, ive just found out that a luton weighs 3500 kg, il ring the dvla in the morning and find out, we are moving house, in 6 weeks and the house we are moving to needs a good clean, so we are hoping to hire a luton and move everything in one go, that way when we get the keys, we can leave the stuff in the van while we scrub the house right out
