Spotted this on a job where we are doing some rectification works - sorting out someone elses errors. The column in the picture is a corner column to a 4 story building. All the floors are cast, meaning there is quite some load coming down.
The hole is a good 7m deep :? , dug to put in some missing drainage.
Talk about good practice :wink:

Made me smile.

Where's the pic, Paul?

If you attached it and it doesn't show it could be too big.

Aye, pics added now. Could do with an error message popping up tell me the pics are too big. :lol:

Looks a bit nasty, I'm gussing that the Engineer gave the go ahead before the hole was dug. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to be that Site Manager.
