'Site' tools (Makita)

Didnt know whether to stick this in here or the makita section but seeing as theyre dirt cheap..
Ive had a 14v drill/driver and a 110v jigsaw recently...
absolutely nothing wrong with either for the money...
good build quality (ive bounced the driver off a balcony accidentally of course) its just like the older makita stuff...
All my advice should be taken with a rather large pinch of salt, all the gear, absolutely no idea whatsoever ;)

I picked up a few of the 18v Site combi drills for future competition prizes.

The drill is identical to the Makita 18v combi, but it comes with an additional battery.

They look pretty good for the money and most people will get 10 years occasional use out of them easily!

I suspect those Site 18V drills are the old 8390's.

It looks like the slight modification of the external body shell. more rubber and grip etc... The internals are most likely the same.
