How best to remove grout from topside of tile?
My first grouting experiance didnt go completely to plan.
Whats the best way to remove fully set grout from the tops of tiles?
I had to rush as th grout was going off as i was applying it and ended up in abit of a mess. I wont be using unibond again, the mixing instructions werent even close!
I cleaned down after half hour but it keeps coming back. Cleaned a further 5 times over the last 2 days and its still showing although not as bad. If i carry on this way its going to take me to next week!

No it was just the grout quick set which i didnt realise when i bought it. They are ceramic tiles with a dry rough finish.
Other than scrape and wipe at it, which is slowly working, what else can i do? There must be a quicker way

If you are using water to try and get rid of it then each time you wipe them, you take a little grout off only whilst dilluting what is left. Will take lots of time to get it all off.
Sometimes rinsing sponge in running water rather than a bucket and only wiping a small area at a time is a great help.
Try a purpose made cleaner for getting rid of grout and adhesive residue.

You should be able to use a chemical cleaner, such as http://www.tileexperience.co.uk/Product ... uctID=1015
