Re: Printers
John,
Have you a link to the web page with the league tables on it.
I'll try printing from the Dell and also from the Packard Bell with IE8 32bit and 64 bit and see what I get.

You can always tell a Yorkshireman,
But you cannot tell him much.

Re: Printers
John, I found the site.
I printed one from IE8 32 bit and 64 bit, both came out the same, the left hand layer printed in colour and the main tables were all missin the colours in the backing and headers>
Firefox printed with the colours but it seperated the League Fixtures/Results into seperate pages.
I wondewr what browser the site was made for and tested on.
Which part of the tables do you want to print, if all of them, I can run them off and send you a Jpeg or a pdf of them so that you can get around the print prblem for now.

Re: Printers
Nothing specific Dave, it was an example that when he tries to print anything web related it's got a shadow.
Try printing just one page and see what happens
If you look on page one you'll see what I mean.

Re: Printers
The ones that I attached were just printed using the File -> Print buttons and selecting Page 1.
So it looks like it may not be the 32bit or 64bit versions that are causing the problems, but IE displayed the colour but did not print it.
Firefox displayed and printed it but the tables must all be on seperate layers for Firefox to print them on different pages.

Re: Printers
If you look at the start of this thread Dave you'll see what I mean. Does it with UHM or any web site.

Re: Printers
Trying to eliminate things, did you check HP for any driver updates?
Have you tried it with the printer wire connected.
Might be worth uninstalling the printer altogether and reinstall it.

Re: Printers
If I send him the table in an email it prints fine. same with a word doc (letter) etc, only internet stuff plays up.
Given the above I didn't see the point of trying a cable, and I didn't have one in me pocket either, but I did think about it.
