Sealed patio sandstone slabs - but it rained!

Post by sturdytree »

My builder sealed the patio yesterday afternoon, as forecast sunny with no rain until today. However, there was a brief shower yesterday afternoon and again in the evening.

Woke this mornng to the raindrops resting on the slabs - is that a good sign as it presumably indicates the sealant is working and preventing the rain soaking in.

Is there anything I should do? What's the worst that could happen if I just leave it to take care of itself?

PS it will likely be a heavy downfall sometime today.

Yes the raindrops resting on the slabs are a good sign...if the sealant hadn't done it's job they wouldn't be there...bit like the rain shower after you've waxed the car...
