Hi All,
We have finished our kitchen (almost!) and we are now looking to tile the walls. I have been reading the section on how to tile walls (we have already tiled the floor so it looks similar) but it mentions that around the back of the cooker it is best to add an additive to stop discolouration of the grout.
Does anyone have any suggestion on where to get this and can it be used for the ready made grout that we have already bought?
Cheers
Nick

Not sure about an additive, but for grout you can add a water proof sealant. For the tiles themselves you can also use a sealant that will -almost- coat the tiles and stop dirt etc getting into the tiny pores in the the tile.
I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to link to products, but:
Grout sealant:
Tile Impregnator:
Hope this helps.
Nope, not allowed, you can link to the product but not the retailer
