Scroll bar
I have somehow lost my left/right scroll bar at the bottom of the screen. I cannot figure out how to get it back? The side scroll bar is fine. Any ideas?

Re: Scroll bar
Which program is it missing from, browser, excell or where?
If browser, which one?
Is the page showing Full Screen and does it overflow off the edge?

Re: Scroll bar
It is the browser window on Vista Dave. It is normally always there but I must have clicked something and it is gone, I have been through the Help thing which is useless on Scroll bars.

That makes the screen small but it does bring the bar back. As soon as I enlarge it vanishes Scruff

Re: Scroll bar
Speaking of 'scrolling'.... whenever I access a page on the forum that has the (any) Virgin advert on it, I lose the ability to use the scroll wheel and/or make a quick 'page back' click using the mouse button......
am I being 'hijacked' to view their ads???

Don't take it personally......

Re: Scroll bar
It disappears because the full window is on view and nothing is hidden to the left or right of the edge of the window.dewaltdisney wrote:

That is perfectly fine.

Re: Scroll bar
You may have been confusing it with the status bar just above your taskbar.
dave
KE, I cannot help much with the scroll not working when the Virgin ad appears, as I don't see it so cannot try to replicate the problem.
Does anyone else have the problem that KE is having in his post above?

Re: Scroll bar
Hold ctrl down and scroll the mouse wheel, and you can make it bigger or smaller.

Re: Scroll bar
I think you may have changed your screen resolution. You couldn't display the full width of a web page with 800x600 so you have to scroll left and right. The same is happening when you make your browser window smaller or zoom in.
